The holiday park is ideally positioned on the water’s edge of Woolgoolga Lake. And, it’s just a 50 metre stroll down the park’s beach track to the sand of Woolgoolga Beach. The calm tidal inlet of the lake is perfect for stand-up paddle boarding, kayaking, swimming and fishing.

There’s an abundance of resident birdlife, especially waterbirds, to watch in this peaceful holiday park. Shielded from the sun by shady eucalypts and paperbarks, it’s the perfect place to get comfortable with your binoculars.

The quiet lake is a great fishing spot with plenty of fish on the sandbank. It’s especially known for flathead around the muddy banks. The beach is also popular for fishing and fishes well for bream, whiting, tailor and some large jewfish.

Woolgoolga Headland is one of the best vantage points on the Coffs Coast for spotting whales during May to October. You’ll also find scenic walking tracks and spectacular coastal views that stretch to Yuraygir National Park and the rolling hills of the Coffs Coast hinterland.

Woolgoolga has an array of cafes, restaurants, and shops; all within a 2 minute drive. Browse the boutique shops and enjoy the convenience of a large supermarket nearby. There’s also a bowling club, new wine bar, and popular tavern.

Visible from the holiday park is the colonial shipwreck known as “The Buster”. It ran aground in 1893 and is quite unique because it has been continuously exposed ever since.

Sherwood Nature Reserve provides opportunities for picnicking, birdwatching and bushwalking. It’s a 40 min drive and features Falls Walking Track, Woolgoolga Creek picnic area and spectacular waterfall views of Woolgoolga Creek Falls.
